
Dr. Reginald W. Steele is a leadership strategist, organizational renewal consultant, and founder of the Healthy Leadership Initiative (HLI). Known as The Church Renewal Specialist, he partners with churches, nonprofits, educational institutions, and mission-driven organizations to strengthen leadership, renew organizational culture, and guide sustainable transformation.
Drawing upon years of pastoral leadership, executive coaching, and organizational consulting, Dr. Steele helps leaders navigate complexity with clarity, align vision with strategy, and cultivate healthy organizations capable of lasting impact. His work integrates practical leadership principles, organizational analysis, conflict resolution, and faith-informed strategy to help leaders move beyond simply managing change toward leading meaningful transformation.
Dr. Steele is the author of When No One Leads the Church: Pastoral Leadership and the Formation of a Healthy Church Culture, where he explores the relationship between pastoral leadership, organizational culture, and congregational renewal. His research and consulting continue to influence churches and organizations seeking healthier leadership systems and stronger organizational cultures.
He earned a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership and a Master of Arts in Religion from Drew Theological School at Drew University and holds a Certificate in Conflict Resolution from Cornell University's eCornell Executive Education program. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts from The College of New Rochelle.
